I'll likely put together another box like this before salmon season is over, and it will all be gone by May.

I brought home around 100 lbs. of cured king and silver eggs from Ak. should be a good start.
Its sure nice getting eggs from a fleet of 25 boats and having a killer egg curing station, 2 days=100lbs.

What you measure in pounds of eggs is what I measure in pounds of just the CURE.

I can't say that I've ever weighed what I go through ... but it's a bunch.

Just imagine if I didn't fish shrimp or worms for steelies!

You must remember, I only get one or two days per week to fish, whereas you are on the river seven days per week, supplying clients no less. I would expect you to measure in plastic bags, what I measure in eggs. :p

I would have brought more but the resort has limited freezer space and only allows us to take 4/50lbs. boxes of fish (or eggs) per employee, so I brought 100lbs. of halibut filets and 100lbs. of eggs, next year it will probably be all eggs as its been a major hassle (believe it or not) to get rid of the fish, everybody wants some but they want me to bring it to them. Next year, 175 lbs. of eggs and 25 lbs. of butt for "my" family.

and yes Sol, they are prime eggs.

Looks like bags of old rotten cat food. Just is gonna be way too easy.....



Oh, I have been going through about 50 pint jars of eggs in a year. Than again, I get out fishing about once every 2 weeks - if I'm lucky. That number will go down with Parker Jr. on the way in late December.

I started useing more after my kids were born. All that screaming and crying...........you know.
