The silvers can be tough to catch. Went out yesterday with Sno-King and we caught 4, but we worked hard for them. In his boat we fished miles of river, working good holes and losing lots of gear on snags. But the weather was good and the beer was cold. All fish were legally caught, in fact, my best fish a chrome 10# swallowed my Dick Nite so far down we could barely get pliers down far enough to reach it.

Chums are on the way, the plunkers at Douglar Bar caught over a dozen the past couple of days. It's supposed to rain this weekend so the chum fishing should pick up next week.

Good luck!

Plunking how I hate to do it but here you go.

three way swivel
4 to 6 inch dropper ( what I like )
4 to 6 oz weight depending on river flow.
3 to 4 foot leader
spinning glow I love the med pearl or pink spin and glows with reflective wings
and a glob of eggs ro sand shrimp your choice but eggs is my choice all the way

Good Luck dont worry the Snohomish Silvers hate me to but if you are interested I am going fishing on Sat and would like someone to go with me to my favorite spot. Limits have been easy to come by. So just email me if you want to tag I will be banking it but it is a small river I will be fishing

stlhd dreaming is right, except most guys I know prefer sandshrimp over eggs, but heh, whatever works!

Personally, for chums I like plugs or jigs. It just depends on where they're at.

sthld,

What day are you planning on hitting the cascade? I'm heading over to ocean shores for some whitetail, and will be back sunday morning. Let me know, that seat is still open

I think you're a couple 'o months too late sled. There's a lot more whitetail in July and August. \:D
