"caught". Funny. Is that what you're calling squid flossing these days on the Snohomish? There's a reason why we call you SquidFloss.....

Put the 14th of November on you calendar Kid. We have a rematch with some Queets coho on that day!

Yeah, the 14th is a Sunday.

30, huh? That's damn near dead! I think "ManWhore" would suit you just fine!

Crikey! Next thing you'll be telling me is that you got married and have a little one on the way!

PS. The wife and I are *NOT* naming our second child "Justin". Sorry. ;\)

Several weeks ago when I was fishing off the Oregon Coast for kings, we caught one of those squid mentioned in the above newspaper link. It was several feet long, had tentacles over a foot and probably weighed in the mid to high teens. It grabbed a cut plug herring. We talked with a guide later that day that also caught one only he kept it and weighed it at 15 lbs. The water that trip was 62 degree's. Just returned from the same place Sunday and the water was 51 degree's.

What a great pic!

As for Snoho squid, I get them with a DN spoon. They take it right in the beak. ;\)

Right in the beak with a DN? In the tip of the beak or in a corner? Some guys say that if it's in the corner that it was flossed....
