Fished west point today from 730-9 with one take down but no fish to show of it, after that we headed toward edmonds. fished there for a couple of hours. Landed 3 shaker kings and had a good take down but lost that one to. only saw 3 other boats fishing today with no fish to be caught. looks like i will be back on the river next weekend.

Thanks for the report Sullie. I was planning on hitting Shilshole Bay next weekend in search of the blackies. Hopefully they'll be in...

I fished the shipwreck area on Satuday. Very pleasant weather, but only one hook-up with a chum, and it came unbottoned.

We fished off Point No Point on Saturday. Got one nice blackmouth within two minutes of starting the day. Back he went. Thought it would be the best day ever. Nothing but tiny kings/blackmouth the rest of the day. Chum were everywhere, just not biting.

We were using single barbless hooks and it seemed like we still killed a lot of little guys. How do you keep them off/keep them healthy? We tried all different depths, different rigs, different areas etc. The little guys just would not stop biting.

Larger hooks and trolling a bit faster usually helps.
