I was hoping that i could get some guesses on river conditions....I would like to fish the bogy thursday and friday.
Any guesses on if it will fish? Does anyone have an idea how to gauge that river based on the usgs height measurement?

Thanks in advance,

shoemaker

By Friday my guess is 5000 CFS on the Queets, 2500 CFS on the Hoh, and under 29 feet on the Bogi scale. PRIME CONDITIONS! There sould be some early winter brats showing after this last high water. \:D

As far as the Bogi go's anything under 29 feet is fishes pretty good. Clarity is another issue. It can be much lower than 29 feet but still have almost zero vis if the slide up along Dowans Creek Road lets go. Hope this helps. \:\)

It should be real good out their, I will be out their on Saturday, until then I will be dreaming of sea lice riding chromers, like Sol said the only thing will be the clarity, but it will be very cold in the evenings for the next 4days, go get em.

the queets isnt fishable at 5,000, the flow is too fast, the color might be alright

fished it last friday when it was at 2100 and it was prime, couldnt keep them off your line, the water pushes too hard when its above 4000

Hi All

I'll be on the bank of the Solduc by 10:am in the morning. It's going to be hard to sleep tonight. If things work out as in the past, I should not have much company on Thursday and a few more people on Friday. I'll post this weekend how I do.
