Where do you buy your plastic bags?

I am looking for a new source. My last 2 orders from PMG had faulty bags that leaked air and wouldn't pressurize. (2 pkgs. of pre-cut and 1 roll ! About $39)

Sending them back to PMG requires boxing, and a trip to UPS. Which is time consuming, more expense and a pain in the a$$.

PMG bags are made in China.

It's not my machine because it works fine with 'good' bags.

Where do you get your bags?

Not sure exactly what PMG is. Tried doing a search and didn't see much on it?? Anyway, I get my bags from Costco. They have by FAR the best deal on bags. You get 6 big rolls for under , I think $20?? it maybe around $25? Anyway, It's about 5times the amount of plastic you get anywhere else..

Holy smokes, that is a good deal! The way my kids go through cereal and milk I should join Costco. I think it's even a better deal than the commissary on bulk items.

Periwinkle, do need the bags with texture on the back or can you use plain vacum bags?

I Still have over 25 cases of industrial strength vacum bags in clear and blue, ranging from 2.5# (2000 per cs)to 5# (1000 per cs) pouches. I think they are 5 and 7 mil.

These will not work on food saver brand.
sell it for cheap.

Matt, (Divers) --- my machine is a VacUPak. I think it might be similar to a Food Saver. It will take a 11.5" width bag.
No, I don't need to have texured on one side, but will those work for me? Also, I'll be long dead before I could get close to using 1000. But maybe could split with someone if they would work.
