Al Franken, that venemous anti-conservative "commedian" and writer is helping sink the fledgling Air America ..the liberal's attempt at talk radio. I don't know what it proves other than nothing but attacks and carping is not entertainment on a regular basis...Here's the story:

In yet another sign of trouble for Air America Radio, the liberal talk network entering its fifth chaotic week on the air, co-founder and chairman Evan Cohen resigned Thursday, as did vice-chairman and investor Rex Sorensen.

The CHICAGO TRIBUNE is planning to report in fresh editions: The company also failed to make its scheduled payroll, leaving its staff roughly 100 radio personalities, writers, and producers unpaid until Thursday.

The departures of Cohen, a former political operative from Guam who was among the network's initial investors, and Sorenson, an investor who owns radio stations in Guam, mark the second executive shake-up at the fledgling network in as many weeks.

GP- I have tried listening via this internet deal a few times. They have defined the meaning of hate talk radio.

hmm too bad they don't have the money behind them like Fox news.

I have been listening to air America the last two weeks and find them to be identical in nature and contentand credibility as limbaugh,Hanity and Savage just the flip side of the coin.
After having listened to both i think they are all full of garbage and that nothing in this country will get better until we tell these dueling parties to take a hike.
When it comes down to it , regardless of how different the fringe elements of the parties are thoes who get elected are nearly identical. They are nothing more than rubber stamps for big business. the American government has lost 100% of it's credibility with me they are all to a man completely corruot and utterly worthless. Until the good people of America start running for public office and kicking out these career polititians NOTHING is foing to change...

That can't be true or America's most conservatrive drug addict would have been off the air long ago. he is the posted child for hate radio. Mybe liberals just aren't in need of daily reinforcment?

Rush is a joke and if you defined radio talk shows by him, Hanity etc it would be no different than Air America. I prefer personalities that look at both sides of the issue and are not afraid to cross party lines to say and do the right thing.

As Chris Rock recently said. If you are a liberal, you are a damn fool. If you are a conservative, you are a damn fool. Look at each issue. Chris said he was a conservative on crime and a liberal on prostitution.!

After watching the politicians at the Rumsfeld hearings today who all ran out afterwards to the microphones and cameras to feather their own nests and gather all the political capital they could I am sick of them all....Joe Lieberman kind of makes sense but he talks like he has a whole bowl of oatmeal in his cheeks so he bugs me....Gotta say again that Al is the only one I can stand because I laugh at him. Every problem on the planet is due to racism...not necessarily GW ...kind of refreshing.
