hey folks hope you can help me. I noticed that my hour guage is reading 129 hours, this is about 80 more than it should have, does the hour guage keep running if the key is left on? also is there a way to reset this gauge ? it is a solid housing so I can't really think of a way, but would like to keep good track of my current hours. please email any insight to Mindfusion@msn.com

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Some hour meters are wired to the switch directly, and some are wired via an oil-pressure switch so they only run when the engine is running.

Sounds like yours may be wired directly to the switch........leave the key on and the meter will run.

Hmmm, wouldn't altering the gauge be illegal?
