The real issue with Edwards is that his candiacy marks a major shift in the Democrat party. The labor unions power has waned with Union membership in the US down to 12% or 13% of the us population. Edwards selection marks a major move by the trial lawyers to take control of the destiny of the party. While on the surface this seems Ok until you think about what trial lawyers stand for. They stand for teraing down and profiting from the destruction of capitalism. They stand for the erosion of personal responsibility. They stand for libraries filled with law after law taht make this country a very complex one to live in. This shift seems to be OK with the far left of the party while the avg. Democrat is very unaware that they are being pulled further and further to the left while making the US less competitive in the world econmically because you have to have defend yourself from trial lawyers. Look at these real examples of warning labels form products . All resulted from trial lawyer law suits.

A warning on an electric router made for carpenters cautions, "This product not intended for use as a dental drill."

A warning label found on a baby stroller cautions the user: "Remove child before folding."

A bottle of prescription sleeping pills says, "Warning: May cause drowsiness."

A sticker on a toilet at a public facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan actually warns: "Recycled flush water unsafe for drinking."

A CD player carries this unusual warning: "Do not use the Ultradisc2000 as a projectile in a catapult."

Trial lawyers are a special and very dangerous breed of Atty. also known as ambulance chasers. Ervery time you get in your pick up and hear the seat belt buzzer thank a trial lawyer for adding 35% to the cost of the vehicle for such to protect lfrom liability.

The real problem with Edwardas is that he went to college and actually put his education to use.

Imagine that? Imagine someone standing up for the little guy?

Imagine a world where corporations take responsibility when they harm one of their customers. Can't? That's because without the threat of severe penalty they have proven they won't.

Don't get me wrong....I kinda grew up amongst a group of trial lawyers so I have first hand experience with scumbaggery.

But hey, once every hundred years or so even an elected president can be a scumbag, just take look at Dumbya's record and it oozes scum from every pore.

So...you can vote directly FOR a known, quantified scumbag or you can vote for the candidate who has a running mate that comes from a profession containing scumbags.

Pick your poison, just know that one dose is a guarantee.

After looking at the voting records for both Kerry and Edwards during their time in the Senate, I was impressed that Edwards seemed to vote by issue instead of straight party line. I like a candidate from any party who thinks for himself instead of doing a knee-jerk reaction.

Kerry's record, on the other hand, looked like a rubber stamp for the Democratic platform. I was disappointed in that. But then he's not looking for my approval or support is he?

Wrongo he is on the ballot . When you vote you cast your vote this fall you will be voting for president and Vp on one ticket. The Vp is appointed and not voted on only in the primaries.
