Thanks PM for putting this back, I was seriously contemplating conspiracy theories. One interesting note, I just spend 10 minutes cruising the Washington Times site and I find no mention of this story. I wonder what that means??? I don't even see the story linked on Drudge.... Strange.

WMD's is the only reason Kerry gave for voting for the war. GW gave 12 more reasons and so did congress. So lack of WMD's to date makes Kerry a bigger dipstick for sending troops into battle. So if you want to harp on WMD's you cannot vote for Kerry with out being a hypocrite can you? Oh I forgot libs can justify anything anytime with some good old fashioned twisted logic.

It was Bush that made the case to Congress seeking approval, not the other way around. I take Kerry's comment as meaning, since I am trusting the evidence presented by the executive branch as being factual (WMD), then this cause rises to the level getting Congressional approval.

You can spin it any way you want to justify it but it is all a part of the congressional record . He chose to reverse course when he was faced with a tough challenge early in the primaries from Dean who voted no. A major character flaw not a change of opinion.

4 salt, Yes you are correct I should have said he opposed the war from the start of the debate. He could not vote. Deans early popularity in the primaries forced Kerry to make it look like he was both for and against the war depending on who he addressed.

The same sources told al-Sabah that al-Douri, who held meany Ba'ath party positions during the former regime, was falsely pronounced dead on its demise. Forged death certificates had been circulated.

He was arrested in an area between Oja and al-Dour, in Salahidine province.

The same sources said three missiles were found with nuclear heads attached in a tunnel six metres underground.

A cement layer six metres thick had been built over the tunnel to hide it from scientific ray detection that could detect the radiation emitted by the nuclear heads.

The tunnel leading to the three missiles is connected to a small hole that opens out on the main road between Ouja and Dour.

The sources said al-Douri was arrested after sending an email, specifying the location and a meeting place in Tikrit.

Authorities analysed the message. Iraqi forces then moved into the area, laying a trap that snared al-Douri and his son.

Al-Douri then revealed the location of the missiles. Various light weapons and money was also seized during the operation.
