Old geezers?

I seem to recall being the last one at the campfire one night long AFTER a certain DanS and the other wimps crawled off to bed.

No no need for that, although I am the same age as TK, and I notice you use that term of endearment towards him. \:D

As I have always been told, growing old may be hell, but it beats the alternative. :p

I gotta go put in my teeth now, and go yell at the 12 year old conservatives that vandalized my 'Bush Worships Gozar' sign I put in the front yard...................... :p
Go figure, who'd a thunk it would ever happen.

Not even close.

I was the "one" out of 40 or so people who couldn't get up to fish the next morning though.

I have this vague, far far away memory...

I thought Jiminy Cricket sang it in a Disney movie?

Well maybe if Jiminy Cricket smoked a few and did some acid?

The songwriter keeps a baot up here from time to time.

Jiminy Cricket sang High Hopes, probably on Sunday night Disney TV, not a Disney movie, and I believe that was before Sinatra had a hit with it.

Neil Young, I shot my baby, DOWN BY THE RIVER

Spent a long time looking
for a game to play.
My luck should be so bad now
to turn out this way.

It's a euphemism. Christians apparently want to keep using the Lords name in vain, so they invent euphemisms to allow them to express themselves.
