Try your local health food store. I found it for about $5.00 per small bottle. I think it might have been a 1/2 oz. bottle. Just look in the essentil oil area.

I've never eaten a worm but nightcrawlers do INDEED have an anise oil smell & taste, moreso in the aftertaste than at the start, remember to start at the head & squeeze down the body to the tail to get rid of the crap in it, that's what gives it a bad taste...

Maybe a stupid question here, but why is the stuff (extract) in the grocery store bad? I have used it for a number of years in curing eggs and shrimp and have caught plenty of Steelhead and Salmon on them. What does the alcohol do that is not good?
