Fred Fishstone Eyed Egg Registered: 01/14/03 Posts: 6	Has anyone had recent sucess on the Kalama? There have been lots of boats and people, but I haven't heard or seen much action for a few weeks. Today (New Year's Eve), it was very busy and I didn't see a fish caught.

Floated it twice just after Thankgiving for 1 winter steelhead haven't been back since, a friend of mine fishes it once or twice a week and hasn't given me a good report yet, thats ok though, been finding fish much closer to home.

Steelheadman Repeat Spawner Registered: 03/15/99 Posts: 1097 Loc: Poulsbo, WA,USA	We banked it on Tuesday afternoon. I missed a fish and saw a red striped summerun swim down the river close to shore. "Dad" got a bright skinny fin clipped hen. He was going to release it but had it hooked in the eye. He thought it was a winterun but it looked like a late summerun to me. The skeins were tight with little eggs.
