Just a heads up to all you drift boaters who like the Highbridge (Big Eddy) to Sultan drift. The river has changed a little between Gold Bar and Startup at that spot we call "the Doctors house" which is that hard right turn where the house sits right up above you where the dog used to bark at you all the time. Anyway, now when you enter it, just as you get to the rip rap wall, there is a fast narrow shot of water coming down from the right that is real hard to row across without getting pushed right into the rip rap wall. Be careful there.

Yeah thats a tricky one. I went up it okay in the sled, but coming down is very tricky. It got a little hairy. Also just a word, the sultan launch sucks right now. I pull my boat with a nissan pathfinder, bad, and have gotten stuck the last 2 times. Be careful where you back in.
