Stam, you may want to head north about 45 minutes to troll ON the beach. Siesta Key ought to be putting out some quality right about now...

Good luck on the poons, just don't reach into the water or lean over the side when mr. poon is by the boat. Those pesky 10-15 foot hammerheads are thick there this time of year and love to chomp the poons in half.
