I fish plenty it's just my fishing partner is my 6 year old son and it kinda limits where I go at least as far as the big water is concerned. I built a drift boat last winter and he does well in it. Heading to Idaho with him at the end of the month for a 10 day reunion tour of all the water I fished before he was born. He ties flies BTW pretty darn good flies at that.

That brings up an interesting © question. I only © my photos to protect them from other people either using, altering, or selling them without my permission...especially on this fangled Intur-Net Thing.

Legally, I could be smoking crack thinking that the © means anything, or even remotely protects my posted photos (posted here yes, but they are not housed here).

Anyone know how or if a © or a TM can or does (or does not) protect any photo and or document on the web?

Does my © do anything (other than to annoy TQ) for my posted photos, or am I just waisting my time on PhotoSlop?

PS. Can ya tell it's the end of finals week here at the UW? Just think, next week will even be *slower*. No students, half of Fisheries in Alaska, etc, etc. Oh super.

You have to submit a sample with an app with $30 fee for each item you want to copyright.

Putting the copyright symbol on it does didley. After you have it copyrighted and some one uses it with out your permission you then have to file suit for damages. Then you have to prove actual damage by showing they gained and you lost value on use of your work. Based on what I have seen from you you clipping coupons would be a better use of your time

You could form a company and a trademark licsense it and insert that in all of your pics. Should be a lot cheaper over the years. You used to beable to cash in pop bottles here. Maybe that will come back.

TK admitted on the non-fishing BB, in case it wasn't already obvious, they he likes to hang out just to see if he can bug people. And he often succeeds.

I almost wonder at how shallow his existence must be to persue bugging people on internet BBs as a form of recreation. I say almost because I won't expend the energy it would take to care about him one way or the other. Nonetheless, he's sometimes a good read (since he's better read than the rest of the BB members combined) and raises interesting topics, and he's nearly always amusing, in a sickly kind of way. Kind of what you might expect from someone who's admitted he made an error exactly one time, out his many, many outlandish posts.

In other words, to know TK is to appreciate TK appropriately.

I don't like what you and your girlfriends post anymore than you like what I post but I don't run around crying about it. Sol will not puke, he'll land two biggies after an embarrassing "6-shaker-start" and he'll get an even more compromising digital shot of Bucket than the last avatar shot, Stam will go 4 for 4, the eyeballs will stay put (she has cute friends you may need them), Bucket will go 3 for 4, feel a sudden urge to "lube the privates" and spray WD40 on his scrote-sack after he forgets his Gold Bond, H2H will uphold the honor of flyfishermen everywhere by catching a 20+ pound king, Parker will dive in to satisfy his Jacques Cousteau jones and quickly exit after a rogue Humboldt squid squirts his privates with ink, and NoFish will almost win the overall $$ prize..........but KK will "accidentally" knock his whopper off the hook at boatside during an ugly netting melee. KK and H2H will haul in the two biggest leviathans of the day on the feathers, re-establishing the important fact that bugtossers do, after all, f'in rock ........
