Yesterday day I saw several of what I would identify as sockeye salmon in the Kalama River. However, I had thought there were no sockeye in the Kalama. I'm still pretty new to this, so forgive me if I'm just totally confused. I would like to know if anyone else knows of sockeye (or lack thereof) in the Kalama.

These fish were in bright spawning colors (bright red body, green head). Didn't see any fish of any sort that I would want to catch--lots of spawned out fish in there.

my guess is that they were old silvers. I have never heard of any sockeye being in the kalama. but I guess that it is possible! but not likely.
