Ok, Bob gives the Okee Dokee for this contest. Its payment for tolerating my posts on what I think makes for tasty fish porn. Winner gets a 2 year subscription to either the Salmon Steelhead Journal, or Salmon Trout Steelheader magazine.

Rules:

Picture must involve fishing, or have a fish as its subject. It must have been taken by, or have as one of its subjects, a member of this BB.
Winner must have a valid email address, or respond back to me within 3 days of winning or prize goes to 2nd place. No pictures involving anything illegal or illeagle.

1. Nominate a picture posted on this bulletin board prior to 11/6/2005. That gives you a day to post any heart pounding pics you've been holding on to. You can nominate your own pictures. I'd prefer you pick a picture posted by someone else.
You can nominate one of my pictures, but I exclude myself from any prizes. In the fat chance I should win, prize goes to second place.

2. Repost the pic of your nomination on this thread.

3. If your favorite picture is already nominated then post on this thread your support of that picture.

4. I, vhawk29, will pick 10 pictures from those nominated. And then set up a poll so everyone can vote.

Nominations end 23:59 Nov 11, 2005.

Since I am paying for the prize I reserve the right to modify or add to these rules to maintain fairness. Ties will be decided by a drinking contest. Last man or woman standing wins.

Good Luck.

we'll also be throwing in a goodie bag of some of our fave gear. Not positive yet what that will be, I'll peek around when I get a day off (ever will I?) and make up something worthwhile.

Time to start looking through those archives!!

Thanks for the stroke, Vinny.

The contest would not be complete without this one:

You can't have a PP bb photo contest without FishNg1's TOAD:

OMG...they could have stuffed Jimmy Hoffa in that fish.

How about we give away Bob's bag o' Goodies to whoever nominates the winning picture? Maybe that will encourage more people to go through the photo archives and find that favorite picture. Once again myself excluded.

So we would have 2 winners. The SST 2 yr subscription to the member who owns the photo, and the goody bag to the member who first nominates the winning pic. Sound Ok?

Okay, I'll play, I have always liked this picture of Winterun's Steelie. More to come.

I'll nominate one more, but I can't find it anywhere.

I think TRBO did a major purging of the members photo gallery. Did they get archived or tossed?

The one I am thinking of is another of Winterun's avatar pics... a slightly blushed headshot of a hook-nosed buck coho which I believe was taken by the Gen'l Zog himself. Maybe he can re-post it for us. Just remember who nominated the shot.

Homer,

Is that guy fishing? It looks like it would make a good poster. Unfortunately when huge panoramas get reduced for web posting details are hard to make out, so thats why I ask. Who took the pic?

I took the pic. Two guys on a rock below the falls, both fishing. Actually, one dufus is actually holding a rod in one hand and his cell phone in the other. Have another that I zoomed in and you can see the fishermen better but can't see the top of the falls.

Looks like we have a winner! I'm pretty sure nothing can top that photo of B-Run.

Kinda fun looking in my archives. Here are two of my favorites!

Hey, I can even pick on myself! ;\)
