Happy Holidays to all of you...if I could just ask that you dog lovers on the board take a few minutes to read this I would really appreciate it!

In the spirit of Christmas I need to ask for all of your help. A good friend of mine is moving to New Zealand for a job in a month or so. The thing is that she has a really cool 4 yr. old lab/pointer(name:Boo)that she cant bring with her because Boo would have to stay in quarantine for 6 months...

So Rachel recently found what she felt was a perfect home for Boo with lots of wide open space and a loving family that had lots of time to give Boo. With much heartache she agreed to give Boo to this family. Boo spent his first week happily playing with his new owners and their small kids...he even slept alongside the children and seemed to love his new home!

On Christmas Eve she got an emotional call from Boo's new family. Apparently Boo had shown Food aggression toward the other dog in the family, while Boo was eating. The new owners have two small kids and didn't feel they could keep Boo after he showed this behavior (which I understand)and tearfully asked Rachel to please come pick up Boo. THe family had completely fallen in love with Boo, and it was very emotional for them but they had to give him back.

OK...so Rachel has now sold her home and is going to be moving out on Wednesday December 28th, to a friends' home until she flys to NZ and is really low on options...Boo needs a new home and he needs one fast. He is one of the sweetest and loving dogs I've ever known, but it seems that he needs to be with an owner that doesn't have small kids or other animals....and has plenty of room for him. I will attach a couple pics of Boo and the text from the flyer she made a while ago when she first started interviewing potential new owners. Please feel free to email me through the board or at jnews1969@hotmail.com. You can also contact Rachel directly at her number listed below or myself-Jason Newmarch at 425-487-9163. She lives in the North Seattle area. Thanks for any good thoughts or ideas you can send Rachels' way....she loves her dog so very much but is out of options soon!

Here's the text of Boo's Flyer:

BIG GOOFY DOG seeks fun loving owner...
I'm a 100lb, 4½-year-old male pointer mix looking for a new owner. My current one will be moving out of the country at the end of the year.
My likes include hiking & running, chasing sticks (or squirrels) and sleeping. I am a loving type of dog and greatly enjoy lots of attention and pets from my owner.
My dislikes include being left alone for really long periods of time and other dogs coming on my property.
I am big (i.e. needs lots of room to run & play) well mannered (know most of my commands), and everyone that meets me seems to really like me. Oh yeah, I'm healthy, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all my shots.
Take a look at my pictures and you'll see what I'm all about.

If interested please contact Rachel at rachel_feldman@hotmail.com or call 425.210.1879
