Just thought I would put this out there and see if I get a strike....I occassionally hear (after the fact)someone stating they have a boat, but don't hardly ever go out, because they can't find anyone to go with them. So, I figure since I don't have a boat, and I am always wanting to go fishing out in the sound, I would say "HEY!!! I'll GO!!!".
I'm not retired, and still work for a living, but I am available most any day after work, and most weekends. I can help with gas money. I can help with launching and recovering the boat. I have most of my own fishing gear. Hell, I'll even bring the beer.
So, the next time someone that has a boat wants to go out fishing and needs someone to go with them to help launch the boat or whatever, drop me a line or give me a call, (will provide cell #).
thanks....fish On!

Email me this summer because I usually head out of W Seattle solo. Boat's in the warehouse for the winter but gets plenty of use every summer/fall.

Bearhunter, 1 tip, the more you post/contribute the better chance you have of finding a ride, if you don't post again or wait 6 months for your next post, chances are, you'll be forgetten about in a couple days, good luck boat whoren! you'll have some competition.
Welcome aboard btw.

Bearhunter:
I have a number of great guys that I fish with frequently, most of which came from here on the site.
I fish the Skagit almost exclusively, but do post "Open Seat" notices when there is a seat available.
If Chrome/22, Captain Q, Nitefishn, Sol Duc, or any of the rest of the gang aren't already scheduled, you are more than welcome. I usually post it right here on the main board.
Mike
p.s.: I don't need gas money, but am willing to accept any and all contributions of my favorite adult beverage..truly the Nectar of the Gods! (And no, I'm not a drunk, nor do I allow them on my boat)

Hmm, I'm a boat whore??? Is that a different job classification than Master Baiter? Thanks for the tip on the posting, AK Dave, sounds like a deal to me...I'll be knockin on your email box in a couple of months then... In the mean time, me and a couple of buddies are heading over to Forks for 4-days come Thursday night. Hopefully the rivers have dropped back down into shape by then. If not, we'll be plunkin at Richwine...

Mike, Would love to take you up on that offer sometime soon. I've never fished the Skagit. It's another one of the rivers here I'd like to take a shot at. I actually would like to try fly-fishing from a driftboat on the Skagit, Sauk, or Stilly some day. I have an 7wt Orvis that I bought about 10 years ago now, specifically for steelheading with it someday...just never have. Used it a lot for trout though....
