Hey all, I was wondering where the best place is to get flies? Is there a website that sells quality flies for a good price? I'm looking for trout flies and also some patterns for coho and pink saltwater fishing.

Tight lines,

fishpinner

If you get to Tacoma, the Morning Hatch has a good selection. It's at 3640 South Cedar Street

There's a guy on Craigslist from Puyallup that goes by the "Antique Angler". He's been listing all types from dry's to streamer's. Here's a link to some of his listings. I keep seeing his ads so I thought I would give him a shot. Trout season is around the corner so I'm gonna buy some wooly buggers-I think they're $7/dozen. Seems reasonable enough.

Anything like an Orvis store has a lot. I don't do any fly fishing but I just drove by the Orvis store in Bellevue and it reminded me...They have a lot of flies in there...But I would support a local fly shop, or some other shop you like...

Another for Hills Discount flies in Yakima. Great quality at a decent price when purchased in dozens...I did the math after my last order. INCLUDING tax and shipping the flies averaged out at 71 cents a fly. That's tough to beat! Service and shipping are top-notch also. My last order was placed on a Wednesday and arrived the following Friday in Spokane, just 2 days!

I used to use Hill's a lot, and also used to find good bargains on flies and gear, including rods and waders on occasion, at kingfisherflyshop online....
