has any one had any success here and do i need a tribal permit to fish here any info would be good was thinking about going over there this weekend

I'm not sure where your talking about, but if it's on the Spokane River, I think you need a permit from the Spokane Tribe and I believe there are Smallmouth, Walleyes, Rainbows and maybe an errant Silver or two. I'm not too sure though, as I've only been there once. You might call the Spokane Tribal Headquarters and ask.

Thanks for the reply lotech i know that the far side is for sure part of the tribe but still not sure if this side of the bridge is public. I will give them a call didnt think of that. A guy I use to know fished there for walleye and showed me some nice fish taken there, how ever he is the kind of guy who like to break the rules so he probly didnt even have a fishin liscense. Might have to go test the luck and skill.

Hope i make it out tomorrow. I will let you know how I made out, but my buddy is trying to get me out steelheading and ive never caught one so thats the gole for this year to hook some big chrome.

I have fished there several times. I don't know if you need a permit to fish from shore or not, I think a boat is fine. Can be good for Walleye, it is closed during spawning season.
