A friend is mounting my archery bull from last year.
He called me over to check out the progress.
Pretty decent.
He still has to do the finish work, but it looks pretty good.
After seeing the monster bulls at the RMEF show, my bull seems to have shrunk!
I still like him though....

Man, I need a towel. I have sooooo much drool dripping. I hope I can see something half that big this year. They are all great animals.

Salmonella that is a great bull, i have been hunting them for more than twenty years now, and have never got a crack at one that big. My best was a very large 5 point, very heavy horned. I love the elk hunt and will probably hunt them till my feet are sticking up. I have sure seen some pretty county following their tracks. What a great game animal.

Twenty years ago that would have been a big bull.
On todays standard he is just a good one but nothing special.
He was special to me in providing one of the most exciting hunts of my life.
He will make a good bookend to my last bull elk taken in Wyoming.
