March 6th. Last 4 years it's been March 1st.

Haven't seen any here yet. Do you make your own nectar or use store bought stuff? I spent $ on a big mix from Lowe's and they won't come near it.

I make my own, 1 cup sugar to 4 cups water. No coloring. I heat it up so the sugar dissolves all the way.

Be sure to refrigerate any back up stock as there's some nasty stuff that will grow in it and make the little critters sick.

They're pretty entertaining to watch, especially when there's a lot of them defending "their personal feeder".

I have them all year long at my house.....
Just keep the feeder full, plenty of them winter here.
