Back when I was younger and didn't have 4 boys and was allowed to roam the state as I wished to hunt and fish, myself and some friends used to fish a lake called cow lake in Ritzville. My buddies family lived in Lind and we would go there in the summer to visit and do some fishing. The main lake was great for trout, we outfished most boats just fishing from the bank. It had two lakes up above it that were good for bass and other warm water fish but I saw a snake up there and could never go back. The last time we fished it they were going to kill off the lake and replant it . Was just wondering if anyone has fished it recently and how it is. Thanks in advance.

For those of you who have not fished this lake it is was an awesome fishing lake. I can't even tell you how to get there. When I used to fish it we would drive into Ritzville drive the main strip until you hit the drive in burger place and it is the first dirt road after it to the right, it looked like a driveway or side road but you follow it to the lake. I stopped and asked for directions in town. I will try when my kids baseball season ends and let everyone know if no one goes there first.
