Wife and I went up the Tuccanon today to check out some of the man made lakes they have along the river. I have never seen so many people after planter trout. Nowhere to park at five different lakes. Not much room to fish. We didn't even turn the truck off and we went back home to watch the Cougars fight to their demise. I think I'll let them have that spot and I'll go elsewhere next time.

Its a huge problem everywhere now. I went to trout lake this morning for some bass fishing and there was already 5 people fishing from the boat launch. This lake has NO dock just a small space about three cars wide for people to launch boats. After about noon 4 more guys showed up, all fishing from the launch. The lake just got some 1300 trout last Tuesday and I guess the word is out. Only saw one other guy out on a boat and he was also out for bass.

Exactly the reason I prefer selective regulation lakes. They still get fished hard at times but most fish are large due to caring anglers who often practice catch and release. My personal favorites are Amber, Medical and Coffeepot (North Silver too when the fish manage to survive the summer, which hasn't happened recently).
