Well I was lucky enough to draw montana combination tags last year and my father and I both were successful on elk but not deer. We really only hunted for elk so I can't really complain. But to make it even better we drew the same tags this year, so to my question... We are heading over there in september for elk and in the end of november for mule deer, was wondering if anyone knew of any good units for either. For elk we weren't sure but for deer we're pretty sure that we are going to hunt out of judith gap. I will post pictures of last years elk when I get it back from the taxidermist along with my 2004 elk from Arizona

My family has a big ranch in Eastern Montana with trophy Elk and Mule Deer, Chuck Adams likes to frequent it.
