took the bug rod out today.

fished fg park. parked at the airplane hole and walked up to the corner. seen a nice 5ish lber laying in the bottum of the first hole. he spooked out quick.

fished my way down to the island right at the airplane hole. had a nice big shadow fallow my fly across the drift. got excited and pulled the fly out of the water.

headed from there below the bridge at the fg park entrance. had a good solid hit first cast. didnt get a hook set nor did i see what it was.

fished my way down to the corner. seen 4 steelies in the pool. couldnt get my fly down to them

so i switched to a freight train and had both fish on 5 different cast rise up to my fly but they didnt seem interested enough to take.

i was tossing a pink "chum candy" the entire day before that. and had alot alot alot of trout hitting it. but my hookset timing is still way off. so i didnt hook up at all

i will be back out tomarrow morning
