This year is my first season bow hunting, and i was wondering where some good places are to do some scouting for deer and elk. you dont have to give away the zipper lip spots just the general area would be great. any help is greatly appreciated.

It might help to know what area you live in. Didn't see it specified on your profile. Good luck & happy hunting.

Sullie,

A damn good place for bowhunting deer (especially your first bowhunt) is up in Wynoochee, above Montesano. I took a number of deer out of there over the years...mostly does and spikes.

What kind of gear are you shooting? Traditional (recurve or longbow) or some of that new age rocket bow technology?

Drop me a PM with your # and I'll be glad to share what I can.

Mike
