After a year and a half I am selling my 1996 Volvo 850 station wagon. It gets good gas mileage, between 27-30mpg depending on how I drive. Below are the specs.

Silver in color
2.4L, 5 cylinder engine (not a turbo, just a regular 850)
161,000 miles
Leather seats with butt warmers & power
Auto transmission with sport/economy switch
Alpine 6 disc CD changer and premium sound system.
Good rubber all around (Toyo)
Brakes are 80% and I just had the rotors turned.
Spare set of 4 snow tires
Thule rack
Detailed by Volvo dealership 6/19/07
Fresh oil change 6/2007.

Kelly Blue Book rates the value between $4,500-5,000 for a private party sale. The car is in great condition, with no issues whatsoever. It has airbags all around and is a fun car that drives very nice. Good safe car for a teenager.

I am selling it as I am buying my Dad's Toyota Camry for my commuter car. (I buy all of his cars, as they are well taken care of.)

I am asking $4,500.

Someone asked for photos, so here they are. Would make a great ski/fishing car. Plenty of room for rods and gear, plus with the integrated Thule rack, all you need to do is add the rack components.

That cat is lucky to be alive. That little bugger jumped on my chest over and over while I was trying to get some sleep!

To answer your question and a few others I've received:

No third seat. The second row seat does have an integrated booster/child seat that folds down/out. There is also a dual climate control feature w/ AC.

The only wear on the car is what you would expect on a 10 year old car. No body damage to speak of except for a door ding or two and some minor scratches. Never been smoked in, doesn't smell funny, just a really clean car.

The spare snow tires (4) are not mounted on rims. They are not studded tires. They are the kind with ground walnut in them (Might be Toyo Observe's) with three winter seasons of use.
