Try any of your standard baitfish patterns, Candlefish, Herring etc. buy some Rainys Popper heads and slide them down infront of your fly, and go to work. Try different retrieves, I some times tell people to find a good beat (Reggae, Waltz, Blues Etc) silvers do alot of following and changing up the retrieve can entice them to strike.
