Say "Hi" to Captain Husky for me. You'll like him. He treats the visiting team to a "Dawg Treat" every 3rd quarter.....right after we score yet another touchdown on Saturday. Have fun Vince. Don't get your hopes and expectations up too high. Always run the risk of crashing down hard. It's been known to happen to a good team or two that has come in to the Dawg Pound to play. I'll just go on record now and predict a Dawg victory on Saturday. Won't be a blow out either way - just a good hard fought game for both teams. Huskies by 7 - In the 2nd OT!

wow, a team that won more games last year alone then the huskies have won in 4 years...underestimate those guys and you will see what happens saturday. remember puppies, syracuse is one of the worst teams in all of Division 1, that was a victory but not that impressive. then ohio state and USC roll into town and its really hammer time for the dawgs...SunDevils rule!

wow, a team that won more games last year alone then the huskies have won in 4 years...underestimate those guys and you will see what happens saturday.... The way I see it is this, the broncs have been hungry for success...then they got the success but no respect, until last bowl season, now everyone knows how good they are, the problem is... so do they, they've lost the need to prove themselves and they are no longer the unknown underdog cinderella team, that will be their downfall. Now it's the huskies that are hungry and they are growling. The cougs will always be just the cougs...it is what it is. p.s. make it a good trinket B-run.

yes Dan, ASU has way better looking women than a football team but with anything goes Dennis Erickson running the show look out baby...our schedule is soft but hey once you dance with the devil its tough to go back to the other side...cheers!
stamly you are right, i dont think they will have nearly as good of a year but they shouldnt be underestimated is all im saying. i actually think the dogs will win this one but it will go down to the wire and should be a damn fun game to attend...

When I was there the total students on campus were around 50k, there were 30k women and 20k men a few of those years...I swear you would walk around and see 20 of the hottest damn women you have ever laid eyes on and then see 20 more the next day...on and on everyday...often never seeing the same hot ones again but just wave after wave of freshies on a daily basis...kinda like a sweet river in Alaska. One of the stupidiest things i have done in my life was having a serious girlfriend during my days in good ole Tempe, AZ...cheers

Last time I checked Oklahoma was a BCS team, and we didn't play them in Bornco Stadium on that beautiful blue turf. I smell victory... I earned the right to be a bragging fan. My freshman year at BSU was the first of 13 in a row we lost to Idaho. It chokes me to admit that. I'm glad things have turned around a little at least.

Well, you can only play those theam that'll schedule you. Gotta give the Dawgs credit, they scheduled BSU. Lots of other teams won't. THey figure if they lose, it hurts them, and if they win, it doesn't help 'em much. Kind of funny the rest of the PAC 10 teams won't play BSU anymore.
Oregon State bagged out after squeaking by once, winning by a bad PAC 10 ref call on another, and getting their butts handed to them in Boise last year. Hmmm, trivia question of the day, what notable PAC 10 teams did OSU beat last season...?

Having the hardest schedule in the nation isn't worth the paper the paper I've wiped my butt with if the dawgs finish 3-10 for the season. Which bowl game do 3-10 teams get invited to? Dan, the BSU program got rolling pretty quickly after going Div 1-A not that long ago. I'm not sure why you picked 2005 as BSU's birth into the big time. The Broncos finished the season in the Top 25 polls in 2002 (12th), 2003 (15th), and 2004 (13th), 2006 (5th), and started the 2005 season ranked 18th. The Broncos have had two undefeated regular seasons in the last three years. Right now they own college footballs longest current winning streak. How about we put a bottle of Patron Silver on this game? Go Broncos...

Of course I’ll be there. I wouldn’t miss this for the world. Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska……..Plenty of high ranked teams have come into Husky stadium thinking they would win and got their asses handed to them. BSU is next!!!!
Sure their tricky little offense works on the smurf turf and on the road against that quality WAC schedule and even in the occasional Bowl game but Husky stadium is going to be the loudest it’s been since Miami came to town 2001. Hard to run a tricky little offense when you can’t hear yourself in the huddle!
The only chance the Broncos have is if they can keep the Huskies off the field in the first quarter while putting up some points themselves thus shutting up the fans. They wont…….

Sorry Vince, I was unsure of the official start date of NCAA Div. 1 football, what with the Ducks claiming 1994 and all. If you say 2002, then it just makes it more confusing. :p Don't get me wrong, I like BSU. They're an overachieving team that plays exciting football. I like that. If it's a good, exciting game, that's all I ask. If UW loses, then BSU deserves a lot of respect because HS isn't an easy place for opposing teams to win. But don't be shocked if the Huskies pull off a win. They've beaten better. I'm not making any bets, though. I only bet on the Apple Cup. But I'll serve myself up a fat helping of crow here if BSU knocks off the Dawgs. Bow Down to Washington!

Yea, a game worth watching. BSU snapped up all 6,000 of their ticket allotment, and I suspect thats just a drop in the bucket ( how many does that stadium hold ??) Anyway, getting together with some folks to BBQ and watch. Its a big game for this town. Kinda worried about that Locker kid. How about those BEAVERS ...
