I'd been sick for a few days and tried everything to shake it, from getting rest to taking fluids, yet nothing seemed to work.

So I was completely out of sorts until receiving the news that a Huskies football player had been arrested and, boom, the Go 2 Guy felt a lot better.

It had been far too long. Under previous regimes, Probation Nation was noticeably absent from the Pac-10 race but could always be found competing for headlines on the police blotter.

Since Tyrone Willingham took over two years ago, there had been nothing at all from the cop shop until Michael Houston was arrested Sunday, breaking a long and baffling drought, restoring faith in the program.

A redshirt sophomore who transferred from Texas, Houston was suspended from the team. Pending the outcome of a UW investigation, Houston figures into the cloudy mix at tailback next year.

Saturday night, according to a police report, Houston allegedly stole an Orange Cab that had picked him up, along with two other men and a woman, from Déjà Vu, a popular Lake City strip club.

Apparently on their way home or wherever they were headed next, Houston and his friends got hungry, prompting a stop at the Lake City McDonald's.

For reasons unknown, the woman spit on a cab window, prompting the cab driver to get out of the car and call 911. At that point, according to the report, Houston jumped from the back seat and drove away.

Seattle police found him getting out of the cab on Lake City Way and arrested him.

Don James is a legend...Don't talk smack about him. Better coach then any of your Coug coaches have ever been. He's done more then your whole team has ever done.

Yea I'm really sorry about the history lesson. I should have known. Cougar's don't have to remember much when it comes to history.
They don't win as much. You only need one hand to count it the # of Rose Bowl wins on your fingers. Actually you only need 1 finger.
Huskies history is a little better.
We tend to be a better team and win more games and more Rose Bowls and more National Championships...

I'll give you all this... You DO care about your teams.. I say the Cougs will take it but what do I know.. BSU could kick either teams ass.. with 1/8 the student population and a fraction of the athletics budget

Enough with this talk of the past. Currently, the Cougs are the better team. November 18th will prove this for the third year in a row.

But that hardly means anything when it comes to the AC now does it? The Cougs have had a better team since about 2000, and yet still managed to get their butts beat by UW. And we've all seen UW teams get their asses handed to them by some pretty bad WSU teams.

So.......Willingham and his team are out on the practice field the other day going through the motions of another practice when all of a sudden he notices a group of players just standing around at one end of the field. Running over to see what is wrong he asks one of the players what the hell is going on. The player says "coach, we found a white powdery substance on the field and we don't know what it is."

Willingham fearing for the worst calls in the FBI to investigate the situation and cancels practice for the day.

A couple days lator the FBI released there report and it went something like this. "The white powdery substance found on the UW football field was found to be the goal line. We don't think that this will cause any future problems as they are not likely to encounter it again."


Why do UW grads leave there parking stickers in the windows of there cars after they graduate?

Answer: So they won't get a ticket for parking in handicap zones.
