Show me proof that we are taking oil WITHOUT payment to Iraq for it...

Do you not think the thousands that died and were disabled on 9/11 not a tragedy? Do we let tyrants come into our country and commit such atricities get away with it? 2974 with another 24 listed as missing from 9/11 all in a matter of a couple hours!! Sad I tell ya! Sad!
As for the military men and women I feel sorry for them and there families! when someone signs on that dotted line to join (not get drafted) the US military they know theres a chance they could step in harms way..

Believe me I'm not happy with this war or for that matter alot of things or leader has done.We are in the process of freeing Iraq from years of a man who murdered thousands of people yearly. Lets finish the job. Then we can pay ourselves back with OIL

What about the tragedy of all the tens of thousands of people(mostly innocent) that die or are injured by drunk drivers EVERY year.

I'm curious what public opion would be if our administration hadn't attempted to lie to us about why we are there (In Iraq...yes, I know, it's not what the thread's about.. but it's my thread.. so there!).

IE: if our "leader" had simply explained that we Americans choose not to conserve resources, and as such we need to pilfer from and take over another sovereign nation to keep our status quo. Honesty. (What a concept). Someone could be FOR or AGAINST this action (...and I think many Americans would "vote" FOR war if it meant they could keep driving their gas guzzlers and practicing opulent lifestyles), but at least we'd know WHAT we were chosing and WHY.

Misunderstood again--- my point was that people are so worried about the deaths in Iraq(and soon to be Iran) and 10 times as many Americans are killed by drunk drivers each year.

Or why worry about the 9/11 deaths right?

It was actually more than just oil. It was the syphoning of U.S. revenue into the greedy paws of a few. Face it. By now we probably could have purchased most of the worlds oil instead of paying for a war. But then the Cheney and Bush pals bank accounts wouldn't be quite as large as they are today. To put it bluntly it was probably the largest heist in the history of the world. They looted the U.S. and Iraq.

"Iran Leads the World in Executing Children"

At least they put them out of their misery. Bush cut's off aid to children if those delivering the aid won't preach abstinence. So, in effect, Bush likes to starve the children to death to make a point.

We need to wipe our own messy butts as an example, before we point fingers and justify a pre-emptive war against another Country that's also slow in wiping their's.

There is enough evil in the World to go around. I say let's ask the tough questions that can illuminate things that we can do such as voting and political action that help's to bring about less misery and suffering upon human kind.

LOL, Timber. Even the dumbest president ever said that isn't true (although he constantly implies it). Petreus said the same thing directly 2 weeks ago when asked by Senator Bird what Iraq had to do with 9/11.

problem is...that our covert and spooky people dressed in black are quietly and discretely working against us, with there treasonous actions, such as outting our intellegence personnel, with the backing and protection of this White House.

Some Americans still remain ignorant, or are not concerned regarding these treasonous actions, that threatens our democracy and constitution. To compromise theses basic values, adds up to a less secure America. Who can we trust? Lately those Spooky Men In Black seem to be creating more problems for America than they are solving, while bankrupting our treasury. As long as they assume that we will remain ignorant and unconcerned, the Cabal will continue there Enron ways.
