went out for a bit before the Hawks game today and managed to find a couple cutthroat. I was looking for coho that have been staging around here lately but they seem to be off the bite today... Saw a couple of them jump but not nearly the numbers i had seen in the past week.
Started off with a little cuttie before I hooked into a really nice fish. Finally landed him after a few minutes and was able to snap a quick pic before releasing him back and heading , soaked, for the dock.
always fun to get out and chase these guys. \:\)
for ref. the net is 25"

well the SRC pics might slow down for awhile but the hunting ones will pick up here shortly. Only been out a few times so far but we should be getting some new birds from canada here shortly and the duck hunting should improve dramatically.
surprised this pic is the one getting brought back to the top there days... i think there are way better ones i have posted on here...

I grew up fishing cutthroats in Montana. Still believe they are the most beautiful fish around. And a great picture!
