One week, the D is nonexistant. The next week, the O doesn't show up. WTF?

Freshman QB though might have something to do with it...It's not like the O didn't show up. They played against the NUMBER 1 team in the nation. Where you expecting them to put up 40? You gotta give credit where it's deserved, and USC deserves the credit for the tough defense.

Well, I dont think you can actually say the O showed up. You have to look at more than just the score to give credit to the offense. I mean the QB had less than 100 yrds passing, the starting RB had only 50 yrds rushing. The defense scored or set up every score for the huskies. Thier longest scoring drive was 28 yards. Yes, he is a freshman, but more than anything they need a running game. Hell even the starting RB for Idaho had more than 50 yrds. I think the defense kept it close, but I think the huskies could have pulled it out if the defense would learn to tackle a little better, way to many missed tackles, it seemed almost everyplay 2 huskies were missing a tackle.

C'mon FH07..........I'm as big a Husky homer as you're going to find and still I say that offensive effort was, well, offensive. The Trojans just showed every team in the Pac how to beat UW........make Locker pass. Jake's accuracy was dismal last night. He missed open receivers numerous times including one play where the receiver was on vacation in the end zone. I think some idiotic playcalling contributed to Locker's difficulties, and Rankin's lack of success did as well.

#1 team in the country, off their game in your house, a chance to send them back to LA wet and beaten and we fail to capitalize. It's the mark of a team with a young and inexperienced QB.

Locker will come around. He's a tough one, and he'll get the touch on his passing game eventually. Hopefully soon.

I was not at all impressed with Jake last night...all his passes were off even most of the ones the recievers (suprisingly) caught. He was mostly high but he was all over the place too. I've been watching him overthrow people all season and its starting to piss me off. I thought the O-Line was the only semi-bright spot in the game...No sacks for an awesome D and like maybe 2 tackles for loss. Rankin needs to sit alittle bit, maybe mix some brandon johnson and j.r. hasty.

I want to see my man JR Hasty in there running it...Rankin seems to get most of the carries and he's not putting together many good games...

Jake's got no confidence in his passing, that was evident even before he over threw his wide open reciever in the end zone. It'll come with time. The game was played sloppy on both sides.

i didn't see the hit locker got nailed with, the one i believe was the 1st. of 15 yard penalties usc was handed. anyways i read in the paper that the hit locker recieved rocked him real good. he stayed in the game but was stung enough to effect his passing.
