I headed over to the dry side yesterday to see what I could find, hoping to test out my new .458, but my elk hunt got interupted by a deer, this nice 3x3 mule deer with eyeguards and it is very symetrical. Thankfully I brought my muzzle loader.

You just have to love suicidal deer. Saw about 40 elk, but none in the area I could hunt.

I didn't see your message prior to leaving ended up going above Cle Elum. I had a 3pt in my sights....but only long enough to see him disappear into the brush. Looking fwd to the late season.

Nice buck Dogfish! I spent two weekends in a row in the Colockum and saw quite a few that looked just like him but just couldn't get close enough with the ol' bow. I wouldn't have passed him up either....
