I knew i had arrived when the bean soups started up as main meals. My son in law and his brother were quite odiferous, but i believe i may have outdone them. My grandson may never be the same. It was nice to get back in my old stomping grounds. Pulled up to one camp and saw one guy sitting in a beater truck nxt to the camp, turned around and started to leave and suddenly he was right on my bumper and with no room to pass he stayed there. Saw another truck coming so stopped alongside and asked if that was his camp at the horse corrals, and he said it was, told him about the guy behind me, and he did not seem to worried about it, assume he had large dog at the camp or something. When i let the guy go by me, he did his best to spray my truck with gravel. Assume one tweaker run off the mountain. Talked to one young fellow as he and i passed on a narrow road, and he wanted to know if elk were legal to shoot. Heard two shots fired close by so went to check it out as I had dropped off one of the boys there, found about six guys that had a clearcut surronded with one guy waving his 30/30 around and pointing with it to direct his buddies to where he thought he had seen a deer, what a crew. Saw all this on one wkend, what are our deer hunters coming to.
