They release birds at crescent lake three days a week until the westside season is over.

i see people hunting ducks on the snoqaulmie all the time. around carnation alot in their drift baots.

idk if thats legal though. i also have seen guys hunting them along the puy just below where the carbon dumps into it along the dike on the eastside" of the river.

um also check out some of the lakes up on the northfork snoqaulmie. i hunt up in that area and there are always some ducks on the lakes. getting them to fly or seeing them flying into the lake are a different story. lol

The release sites are open for pheasant thru Thanksgiving. Not sure of the exact closing date (too lazy to check right now) but probably closes Nov. 30th.

After the release sites close to pheasant you can access those areas before dawn to set up decoys. As long as pheasant are open you are not allowed on the property until 8:00 am. The different release sites can provide good decoy hunting after a Dec flood.

Perfectly legal to hunt ducks out of a driftboat or a sled with the motor turned off and no longer moving due to the motor. The only restrictions being firearm restrictions usually in place by city or county ordinances and not the WDFW. For example nothing in the WDFW pamphlet would show the Samamish Slew as being closed to duck hunting but the Bothell PD would still probably ticket you.
