Fuzzy grub, The sleeping arangements must have been something like head to foot with a divider of cardboard or visqueen in between them. Sol is very homophobic and even eats his hotdogs sideways.

Sol, that looks like it was alot of funn, great pics. You could have left it with Nick filling the 45gallons of fuel for the Boat. Dave K. did not join you?

Matt

No, Dave didn't make it. We did a fair job of destroying some of his shi%, though. Nick broke the front seat on the boat frame with his emence weight bouncing over the rapids, and we somehow fuc%ed-up the boat trailer on the way home.

P.S. That spot three turns below the bridge is a MF'r. Nick did Navy Seal launch with three feet of air under the boat going though there on day one and was fine relagaing me to the tiller for the rest of the trip after that. No pu$$ies allowed on that river for sure.

Did you see many other people? Bears? What about floating down through Middle Earth? Did you get any info on that, I would love to do that float sometime.

Even getting there was an "issue."

Description: The we had to drive 80 miles on this road, in a 30-foot motorhome no less.

We had accomplished everything we set out to do by then, anyway. It was one of the coolest trips I've ever been on. I fished it once half heartedly up by the road a few years ago, but now I can now check that river off my list.

Sounds awesome brotha! I with I had some buddies that would take trips like that. Hope you stopped in Vancouver to score on some killer smoke first.

Two of the three lodges were closed. One lodge was rrunning a group of four people and that was it. Bill Herzog was one of them. We ran into and fished with him a few times. He had been in there soremouthing fish for a few days before we got there.

The pucker factor of driving there in the snow must have had you pretty juiced by the time you got there. I've done that drive in the snow a few times towing only a boat trailer and it was enough.... One of the hazards of a late trip like this, but looks like you reaped the rewards for it!
Cheers

Great stuff! Thanks for sharing your trip. Towing a trailer behind a big azz motorhome on that road looks interesting.

Yeah, you guys have some big ones. There is no way I would drive on that road and stay in there with that much snow. I understand why got very little sleep. Nice fish though.

To think that you could have towed Addicted on his board down that 80 mile stretch.

Looks like an awesome trip guys!! Glad you made it home safely ... guess I'll have to pay up on all the bets I had out that one of you wouldn't make it \:\)

Feel for ya ... them roads look like what I had coming back from both the Yukon moose hunt and / or our trip out, the latter of which was REALLY no fun.

Maybe one of these days I'll do a late one ... Momma just won't let me take that much time off!!
