Man tries to blast loose a lug nut with his shotgun and you can pretty much predict what happened.

I know an old timer who attempted to put a hole throug a leaf of spring steel from a D-9 Cat. After breaking all his bits, he propped it against a log, set up a table, put some sandbags up, set a .30-06 on them, tied a string to the trigger, stood behind a tree, and when he pulled the string, the bullet hit the steel and bouncedd back and mushroomed the barrel of the rifle.

You never know what some one you think has it together may do. A friend recently tried to light his fireplace...with GASOLINE! Caught his pants on fire and part of the house.

I assumed, wrongly, that everyone was smarter than that.

You are calling that guy "a" idiot. the correct english would be "an" idiot. Come on smart guy. Sounds like it is time for you to go back to school. But I do agree. That is the most redneck thing I have ever heard.
