Chums fill a niche for alot of fisherman. I am ok with that as it keeps guys away from the places and species I like to chase. I think we should be encouraging your average fisherman to chase the hatchery dogs.

ok, but I still do not think it's acceptable behavior to personally attack or make assumptions about people you do not know. I believe in the saying: "Worry about what you are doing, not what others are doing, for they will have their day"....or however it ends, lol.

You can call it what you want, challenging expectations, whatever, but bashing is bashing. Just some people seem to grow balls on the internet and say things they normally wouldn't when face to face. Maybe it's their outlet or they have marriage problems, I dunno, it's still not acceptable behavior from adults. I am on the assumption we are all adults here, right? LOL But I'm a big girl, I can take it...just don't make fun of my green beenie: have tears, will cry.

Nice one, made me laugh too.

The chum police will get you every time.

Then if you are caught by the chum police you will get charged by the grammar and conflicting information prosecutors.

Why does he hate fish? Anyway, it sounds like you had a good time out fishing Minter Creek.

Write all you want. Keep your hands up to protect your face. Stay on your toes, don't rock on your heels. And work the jab to keep the trolls back.

As long as your not trying to get a flame war going someone will step up and provide cover fire for you. You seem like an honest girl having fun, probably why Vedder stepped up to tell the crowd to simmer down.

Minter creek is cool, not cool for guys with $800 rod and reel outfits, but more like cool for new guys to learn how to play fish, or guys who really like to play chum on snoopy rods. If I wasn't already busy the rest of this week, I'd be down there with an extra spool of 10 pound test, and my barbie rods.

Careful while your down there fishing. It's not hard to adopt the local ethics, i.e. intentionally snagging fish, 10 foot leaders, black yarn, etc etc. Fish do get snagged by accident, but if your fishing in between 10 guys all yanking hard on every cast, your going to do the same, as well as lose all your teeth and wake up in a double wide trailer.

Hey thanx Vince, you seem like a cool dude. Yeah, Minter is an exciting place to go if you haven't fought a lot of fish and don't mind standing shoulder to shoulder, or having the exact rock you're standing on taken every time you land a fish, lol. Some people tho are annoying and don't know the "etiquette" of combat fishing, if there is such a thing. I let it go for so long then my hooks start flying by their face too many times and they leave. Don't worry, I can miss by inches, and that's A LOT!

He just does, that and mayo. Something about his brother force fed him a spoonful or something. I don't think it was a bad experience with a chick, he would have told me by now, lol.

Looks like we don't exactly know what gender we're dealing with.

In any case, arguing over chums is a waste of bandwidth.

OR there was an assumption of my gender...BTW my name is Corina. It's hard to tell from the avatar but I have black hair, shoulder length, and really big boobs...we'll save the rest for PMs, just kidding! DON'T PM me about that!

Minter is one of the few places where fishing at night for salmon is legal. Most places have a night closure--i.e., it's legal to fish for salmon at night unless specifically listed as having a night closure

Oookeeee... After the "really big boobs" comment, I had to check out the myspace link...

Keep posting your fish photos. WRT your fish, if they are legal, you can do whatever you want to with them.

Big boobs AND you use a casting reel. You even have the handle on the correct side. You can't be that bad even if you fish for chums.

Rocket Red, as usual, that last post was funny.

The natives get restless when new a target strolls by.

Ignore some of them, value the feedback given by others and by all means don't let the remainder get under your skin.

Keep posting................

BadFish,

The fisherpeople on this forum are a lot like chums. Some are chromers, others are nasty. Some have eggs, some have pink meat. Whatever. You have a good attitude. Just remember that some of the guys who bash you are single (alone if they are over 40), and have nothing better to do. I love to fish and love challenges at every, level reguardless of species. Look at Vince for example. He is an awsome fisherman and well respected on this site. He has posted photos of chum many of time in the past and we all got some great laughs out of it. I enjoyed your photos and look forward to seeing more.
