He's gotten his ass in too deep to ever get the dem nomination ever again. Oh well, they say the captain always goes down with his ship. You could see the Republican turkey vultures circling above waiting for "that" debate to happen. I wonder how many dems thought it was possible for him to run again anyway? Prolly A LOT were hoping LOL. Now that Hillary is behind Obama in Iowa/New Hampshire going into the last debate tomorrow, you guys better sure hope Oprah and her puppet got something good for this nation better then illegals running around with drivers licenses because it looks like to me that most in this nation, atleast by all these slap together polls say they don't want that shiat.

May the force be with you (Merry Christmas you leftards)

I see they gave him the Noble Prize for his Global Warming stand and getting the word out. I betting we don't act in time for it to make a difference, however, I'll give him credit for understanding the science and trying.

Understanding the science? lol. Al Gore a scientist? Next thing you know they'll be telling us Will Ferrel is a physicist. Last we checked Greenland was still covered in snow. The temps haven't gone up in 5 years. The dramatic polar ice melt off that we saw over the summer is forming ice faster then it melted off. Antarctic sea ice has been on the increase for the past two decades. Given over the past 200 years of recorded history the earth's temp has risen half a degree celcius were still not seeing the kinds of human involvement of the Gore factor he's touting as a religion. Some of the key scientists that were involved in the 70's in what they thought was becoming of the next ice age are the same clowns telling us New York will be under 20 ft of water within the next two decades.

All it's really doing is raising taxes and giving more control to people whom dream of nothing more then to control all the mind numb zombies that believe in their fodder. If they can get politicians to win over the hearts of Americans by shear BS drama and playing the enviro-green PC card they will have succeeded in the biggest lie in earths history.

Meanwhile joe blow and sally sue will be crushed by a ford excursion while on their way to work in a prius. Why? because they felt it was the right choice to do their part to save the world from melting.

When we get to 2020 when were supposed to by kayaking around in central park looking back at those SUV monsters that were made in the late 90's early 2000's. They may not seem so bad when we realize that the majority of deaths from motor vehicle accidents won't be from drunk driving but because vehicles that were supposed to surpass federal guidelines by lightening structural material to reach those mpg's. We can then blame it on the rats that followed the Gore piper.

On a personal level I think the best thing that can be done to the environment is to leave it alone and do your fair share of picking up beer cans and recycling. After all 90% of Exxon Valdez wasn't cleaned up by people scooping up oil laiden sand and scrubbing rocks with lemon fresh joy, mother nature took care of that. Oil flows up through vents on the ocean floor all day long.

How the fark are we pumping out more polution every day since we've been cutting back on cutting down trees and putting polution straight into the environment since the 70's?!? What the hell ? LOL

And you've got that dayum straight, read up on your trees and what they do when their not photosynthesizing or when they are mature/dying. While your at it read up on how much co2 comes from nature. Period. Then tell me how many parts per million humans are responsible as compared to natural causes Wile super genious.

This is too funny...Show me where people where saying we are going to be kayaking in central park. I'd love to see the stuff you read (and believe) and/or the people you believe. Please, prove us wrong with an article or some other sort of proof. All I see is your retarded mumbling. But please, keep it up. This chit is entertaining...

No chit greenland is still covered in snow. Does all the snow have to melt for you to realize that it's just a tad warmer up there? GLOBAL WARMING DOESNT HAPPEN IN ONE NIGHT. Seriously bro, back some facts up with your half-witted rambling...Last I checked the polar ice caps are a helluva lot smaller then they were in the past few decades....

If the worst plan the dem's are accused of having involves giving a drivers license to the guy who cleans the pool and mows the yard, I'll vote a straight Democratic ticket. I doubt it'll cost our country the lives of 4,000 soldiers, the permanent disability of 20,000 more.

I had one of those brilliant drunken ideas, that still held some amusement for me once I became sober; I ever get within 100 yards of the POTUS I'm going to make an attempt at a citizen's arrest for being criminally negligent in his performance as chief executive. Sure it has no legal basis. And I might spend a few days in jail, but I'll enjoy every phuckin minute. Plus it'll look great on YouTube.

Remember the good old days when the R's biggest concern was that someone was getting a BJ from a horsetoothed intern? I miss those days.

IMO, Al Gore would win in a landslide. His entire campaign could be "told you so".

Let's see...takes a hundred years or more to grow a forest but BJ thinks it's all good since we've been "cutting back" since the 70's. You really are an idiot BJ.

Al gore would win in a landslide against his democratic counterparts - given the current field of contestants and that's about it. It's so funny to listen to people that have no leniency one way or the other because they are too thick headed and stubborn in their ways to realize there have been multiple ice ages and warming trends throughout earths history. But that's okay, take the easy out and call me an idiot, tool (so 90'sish), compare me to a drunk guy, or someone giving a BJ! C'mon let's see something original from you lefties. HURT MY FEELINGS BABY!

Now do you understand why conservativism kills? Can you imagine this moron as your Governor or President? (..Ok well he might be slight positive IQ upgrade from the current one)

I still blame it on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

"The most serious characteristics of FASD are the invisible symptoms of neurological damage from prenatal exposure to alcohol. These symptoms persist into adulthood and include the following:

Attention deficits
Memory deficits
Hyperactivity
Difficulty with abstract concepts
Inability to manage money
Poor problem solving skills
Difficulty learning from consequences
Immature social behavior
Inappropriately friendly to strangers
Lack of control over emotions
Poor impulse control
Poor judgment"

Why I didn't vote for al Gore;

Al's got a shiny new persona and agenda, but it's just a slight deviation from the old one and hides his true agenda. Research his ideas on personal property rights some time. Had he been elected, we would have seen that he's more socialist than a democrat.

He thought the federal gas tax should be increased several dollars. He believed in curbing urban sprawl with federal regulation. The latest Supreme Court ruling on emminent domain would have fallen right in with his plans of "taking" private homes/property to create/expand parks and preserves.

Lastly, he is a hypocrite. He does NOT practice what he preaches with his own home and evironmental impacts. Saving the planet from global warming is a worthy goal, but it's not going to happen.

WOW we agree again.

happened under GW. GW and pals love high oil prices. A little curbing of urban sprawl happend too with the credit crisis. Emminent domain issue also under GW. unless you think a president has nothing to do with issues like these. But then you can't use the argument against Gore either.
I'm pretty confident a lot more people would be alive today, the dollar would be stronger and we wouldn't be owned by China due to record debt and deficits.

AM seems to be crossing over to the dark side the closer Hillary get's to the White House.

No matter who's elected, if things don't change, we will have a semi third world economy in no time. It's to their (Cabal) advantage, that we buy into the media generated differences, thereby not noticing the similarities of being human. They have us divided into many groups, ( Democrat, Republican, Race, Religion, Conservative, Liberals, etc.) so that we fight it out, and hate our neighbors, and not notice the man behind the curtain. This keeps us from joining together, and demanding better choices of candidates, and demands for accountability for the common good of all of Americans. This prevents us from seeing the forest for the tree's. We need to change the system of Campaign financing, so that all candidate can be on equal footing. We need public funded elections so that the other political party's can compete in debate, and in the media. Keep this up, Dubai will be handed over the office's of the Cia and Homeland security. Monopoly money wins again. American people go strait to jail, collect no money and don't pass go.

Take the cotton out of your ears folks, and put it in your mouth. I'm talking about China setting up sweat shops here on the main land, people!? Air Bus is looking for cheap US labor, and are planning a building cite here in the States. They do this for the cheap labor and production cost, which will definitely upset Boeing's apple cart. At the rate China is sucking coins out of the system, they will be setting up manufacturing here as well, because the labor will be cheaper here, than in China.

Strange but true, the predicament we find ourselves in. Wonder why our leaders are hesitant in supporting World environmental pollution restrictions? Could it be that, if and when China decides it wants to remove smoke stacks and smog from it's atmosphere and territory, they can always have them moved here, while they get cleaner air, as our politician get bankrolled? However, this wont prevent them from controlling the World's economy, with all the cheap goods from the sweat shops, they will set up here, and the snowballing growth of it's currency. China has mass property holdings all over this country, and especially here in Western Washington. Remember GW and his, "brother can you spare a dime, so that we can afford to slap ___, and Iraq ass, for their oil." Now we owe the farm and they still own the oil..

Just imagine in the future, the further North, the cheaper the labor, as heating fuel becomes an issue. Can you imagine living in the factory where you work (as they do in China now) in order not to freeze your butt off, and making a few pieces to send back to the family in Minnesota? .

Could be right around the corner, that we realize getting the bulk customer services, and phone tech assistance job holdings, that India and other countries now monopolize. Why? Because it would be cheaper here, than any where else. One thing that would be welcomed, would be the ability to understand the English being spoke by the person at the other end of the line.

Just looking at, and commenting on the direction the ship is heading. We need to clean house, and get new people in congress, as well as the White house. I don't really care for most. If their mouth's are moving, they are lying. Maybe with the exception of a couple or three.

Arguing over who's the best politician of the choices we have, is like pissing in the wind, and expecting to not get soaked. Besides, the one with the most votes, still may not get the nod. The election could still get handed to the loser, as has happened in the past. Is that Third World behavior, or what. Remember, they still did not fix those easy to manipulate voting machines, that are at the ready with the same identical flaws. Neither party will protect, because they Know that there masters wont like it if they do. Might jeopardize their chance of being appointed, or handed the election. We have had 8 years to clean this [censored] up, and still there is not a peep, from any of our so call leaders, for an update on the status of securing our vote. A paper trail is no longer required. That way, there can be no contest of any of their shenanigans, after the polls are closed, and the numbers are entered electronically, for the winner thats chosen in advance of the voting.

Go ahead and keep slamming each other, with the media generated mythology, that promotes hatred, and isms of all conservatives, liberals, all Christians, Muslims, Buddhist, Hindu, Jews, Red Men, Yellow men, white men, Brown men. You name it, they will find hate for it . It's the foundation of the blame game. I don't have it, so you must have it, while the real crooks continue to get away clean, with the content of the vault, leaving the almost extinct middle class holding the bag.

Just cause he's a scientist doesn't mean he's correct. But you are correct, I'm not a scientist, thanks for telling me, but I'd like to meet this "scientist" and see if he educated you about the dangerous trees that produce C02...

The question really is can alarmist prove global warming exists and they can't. BTW any person can google "trees create co2" and find the answer for themselves in the first couple search results. It's no secret, I think most public education systems cover that fact by atleast 8th or 9th grade. Some kids obviously didn't pay attention. ARE WE MISSING SOMETHING HERE??!?!?! LOL

I'm not going to post links to old news. When I find something new I might, but probably not.

Why get so defensive? Do you hug trees?

I dont log in here much as anyone can see by my post count, but BJ is giving me too much of a headache with his twisted logic not to respond.

Yes, anyone that can remember anything about biology knows that trees produce CO2 during respiration at night and when they are dying. Biodiversity is the important fact that you seem to be missing. The Oxygen created by these trees during daylight hours through photosynthesis keeps the environment in balance.

You want to compare CO2 created by trees with CO2 created by humans? What a joke! When is the last time that Oxygen was created by the process of burning fossil fuels? Um...never. Until they can create an internal combustion enginge that creates oxygen in it's off time, you're logic is screwed.

It's been proven that global warming exists via ice core samples and such. Some debate the cause kind of like some deny the holocaust or man landing on the moon (that's you by the way).

Trees take in CO2 and create oxygen and I don't have to google that as I learned it about the second grade. You can google the moon is made of cheese and get lot's of hits as well.

I'm well aware of the respiration process as I have cleary pointed that out in other posts(amazingly enough the same stubborn people don't believe that science)(do a search) arguing the point with the same people over and over here and there. And yes I would like to make that comparison of how much humans dump co2 into the environment VS. mother nature - lets see you prove humans are responsible for the majorty of green house gases on earth. Let me know how many parts per million you find out when you are done your research...I already know the answer.

<popcorn is in the microwave...this ought to be good>

My basic problem with Gore is the hypocrisy, the taxes that major corps. will pass on to the consumer (you/me) eventually. And the control factor they want to have over the common person - where are the civil rights there??? They are already pushing standards so hard car manufacturers are slapping together cars that you know dayum well will get people crushed in car accidents that people normally would walk away from. Wouldn't it be great if everyone drove a focus so when people hit each other no one gets hurt but that will never be the case.

People are so PC forcing our government to subsidize farmers making them grow corn for alternative fuel. The cost of producing ethanol, the lack of other crops such as wheat are driving other costs up such as dairy, meats, produce in general. Internationally Kyoto is forcing taxes, penalties and fines driving the costs of products we purchase from them. All for what? So we can save a polar bear from drowning that isn't?

Temps haven't gone up in a decade. Arctic/Antarctic sea ice is growing. Earths temp has only gone up half a degree C over the last 200 years.

Global warming is a socialists agenda and myth. Climate change is a fact of reality and natural course of earth.

Trees produce CO2 when they respire at night, and they produce a little more O2 during the day when they are photosynthesizing...net gain of oxygen.

We humans produce CO2 day and night...and then some. Throws the balance out of whack.

It is just about the most basic and fundamental problem with talking science with those who would rather discuss partisan politics...compare apples to oranges, call it a "debate", and then ignore the problem...

Fish on...

You forgot trees also die and when they do its all carbon my friend. pffft. Mother nature has a natural cycle that keeps balance. What about other living things, humans, plants animals -when they die, the atmosphere, etc, etc??? Forgot about those too huh.

The amount of Co2 human's produce via industry, machinery, emissions is less then 17 parts per million which could not effect the climate. In layman's term's that's worse odd's then any lotto, or realitively speaking dropping a penny into a pool with nearly 6,000,000 other pennys and trying to find the same one. What do you not understand about it? LOL

NASA satellite lower atmospheric surface imaging when corrected for instances of El Nino or the later and other events such as Volcanic eruptions show absolutely no global warming. The head honcho at NASA Micheal Griffin is a skeptic of Gore's theory.

BTW your articles you linked from 2004 have been updated as of Decemeber this year by left wing nuts at the PI.

BJ you tool, even those who believe the preponderance of the evidence supports climate change are skeptical of Gore. By definition, a scientist is skeptical. It comes with the territory.

And since when does 1:6,000,000 equal 17:1,000,000? Didn't make it past grade school arithmetic, eh? Thought as much.

Take some biology courses! All carbon, my ass! Also nitrogen, phosphorus, etc. And it doesn't all just go "pffft" in to the atmosphere when plants die; if it did there wouldn't be any petroleum for fuel. The process is called sequestration. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_dioxide_sink

Over 17,000 scientists now agree there are no experimental data to support the hypothesis that increases in human hydrocarbon use or in atmospheric carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are causing or can be expected to cause unfavorable changes in global temperatures, weather, or landscape. That's 16,000+ more scientist then Gore could buy to get them to say it was happening if you count media agents, television actors, politicians included.

To be fair to Blow Jay, neither of them is imaginary...though virtually everything they say is.

Wow, what a great choice of words, BJ. Even you realize, on some level, that you're full of it.The idea that the the link contains the date of the original story (in this case, 2004) is bogus. Again, if you actually could, or did, read the article, you might be able to figure it out. There is no mention of events from 2004, and is clearly about events of this year. Ya think an article from 2004 could predict what would be observed in 2007??!

They've added events from this year. Which is assanine. You'd think they'd just write a new article instead of change the original. But those left wing pundits do that to cover their tracks.

Today 60% of the country is covered in snow and ice - Another reason Gore chose Bali for the Global Warming conference. Coincidentally scientist from that conference were planning on broadcasting from the Arctic circle where they claim ice is melting but were unable to make it due to extreme below 0 temps. What's not there to get? lol

BJ, I'm going to use your logic here:

There can't be any snow or ice. Look outside. Do you see any?

Part of the conspiracy is to have Al Gore make dramatically false statements in order to expose the right wing whackos whom he knows will snap and expose themselves for all the lefties to snipe. It's like shooting turkeys. gobble gobble. bang.

I can see a LOT of snow outside...rainier, cascades...it must be a farce. But here's some imaging to help see it:

Looks like in 1980 there's less snow, but what do these guys know, they just post imaging.

You moron...

The 'purple' is actual ice structure and not cyclical and short term 'white' snow coverage. Look closely at the outline of purple in both shots and it's painfully obvious that while there isn't nearly the snow coverage on a single day in time 27 years apart, there is a hell of a lot less ice.

I love it when stupid people post stuff to prove a point and it's actually evidence to the contrary...

The index on the left is for sea ice concentration - color coded, which you obviously can't read.

Just because you don't respect Gore dosn't mean everything he says is wrong.

By analogy just because you can't fish doesn't mean all Republicans can't fish.

There is absolutely no basis for Al Gore's theory of Global Warming. It's complete BS. If you don't agree with me, that's fine. I could give a shat less if you decide to burry your head in the sand. You're not bending my opinion of what I know to be correct. You guys are a SMALL minority of people out there. I appreciate your sense of stewardship in protecting the environment as we share that idea as well. That's super-dee-frick'n-duper! But lowering yourself to even TRY to insult me with your blow jay's, making me a member of the KKK, putting a pic of me in a stall with Larry Craig, name calling and remarks about the boot in my avatar get's you no where. I'm set'n anchor *****!

So shy don't you sit back and educate yourself and read this: http://www.oism.org/pproject/pproject.htm#333

Read the entire contents, notice how many names there are. Thanks! I also share their same opinion.

If you believe this, then you really aren't familiar with the whole concept of right wing talking heads...
