Curt45lc Returning Adult Registered: 05/16/05 Posts: 297 Loc: Everson, WA	I got a win. model 37 singleshot 410 yesterday with a built in full choke. I was wondering if it is possible to shoot rifled slugs through it? Dogfish River Nutrients Registered: 05/03/01 Posts: 3231 Loc: McCleary, WA	Can't really use the slugs for much, so I'd think that you are better off sticking with birdshot. They are pretty much useless unless you are within about 15 yards. What would be your intended target? The FPS and slug weight turn out having less terminal effectiveness than my .40 S&W. I'd rather use my .40 than a .410 slug. Not legal for deer, as I believe I read 20 gauge minimum for deer, bear, cougar. 12 gauge minimum for elk. _________________________ "Give me the anger, fish! RowVsWade Returning Adult Registered: 11/08/06 Posts: 413 Loc: Lynnwood	Don't shoot slugs thru a full choke. Modified at the tightest, improved cylinder or cylinder is optimal. You risk splitting or at least bulging the choke (approx last 2 inches of Bbl).
