Gamie with an attitude!

Did the razor clam thing on Monday. My wife and I had the day off and thought it would be nice day for a drive. Took one and a half hours to dig my limit. Clamming was not the best but I got 'er done. I went back to the truck after sunset and placed my clams in the cooler and took off my boots and got ready for the drive home. Which included taking a discrete leak next to my truck.
Gamey pulls up and starts telling me the things I cannot do in his front yard. He asked me how I would like it if he took a leak in my front yard. His demeanor included the "confronting the felon posture" while he was showing me his ass (attitude). Then he went into a tirade how families with little kids were down there having a family experience and how this might affect them. (Insert the child molester picture.)
Granted was not the best idea taking the discrete leak however, I was one of the last vehicles on the beach past dusk. The closest vehicle to me was about a hundred yards away and with no kids.
I was speechless.
I thought about giving a little back when I was reminded of the over-reaction by some of the Grays Harbor gammies that I have read about on this board. I chose not to pass the asshole test and gave the obligatory apology and left.
WDFG has admitted they have an image problem. With tools like this I can only imagine what a hole they have dug for themselves. After this confrontation by one of their finest and their management of our resources I'm ready for a good overhaul of our state's game management system.
Unbelievable!

My point exactly. In my profession I'd be accountable, believe me if I or someone assigned to me treated someone like that. Everyone has their bad days but it is still no excuse for this type of behavior.
No I did'nt catch his name. Why bother. Seems like some people hang on the arrogance when they put the badge on.
The only satisfaction I have is that he has to live with himself.

Think he's visualizing the gamie taking a piss in his front yard and what he'd do about it....pepper his a$$ with buckshot!

They call that "verbal judo". Aggressive verbal action to take control of the situation.

I wouldl think that the one that did probably is not too terribly far off from that stage in life either.

I was talking about the gamie, unless you are the gamie. You know, telling the story like, " I have this buddy who has this friend" kind of deal. In which case I guess I would be talking about you. But I dont think that is the case. I have met two of the three gamies out there and I havent gathered that they would do that. Wonder if the other third guy is who did it?
Any way. That sucks. Maybe you should have told him that one day he too will have the bladder of a fruit bat and he will have to pee in emergency on the back of his truck, or his pants, that would have been funny.

It could have been a fish and wildlife officer from another part of the sate too, not necessarily the county you were in. Alot of times for clam digs they call in guys from allover because of the extra people pressure

I suppose that would be a more realistic situation. I dont think the two guys that are always in the area are like that. The third however, I have heard things.
What area were you in Captain?

Was'nt the guy from Republic. He left me with a memorable experience too! The gammies from Enumclaw/Buckley area are great. Never had a problem with them.
Sol had some great advice as well as Strike Zone. Thanks for letting me vent.

Wow I can't believe this thread. I have done that a lot of times, at Ocean Shores. I have seen a Park Ranger do that next to his truck at a trail head one time too.
Maybe he really did live at the beach and you really were in his front yard.
One of my cousins and one of my bud's both got tossed in the joint in Elma for pissing in the alley behind the bar. Both within a week, I think the cop must have been setting a "Sting" operation for the alley pissers. Maybe it was the same guy, I think he likes to try and startle discrete pissers so they will turn around real fast, and he can get a glimpse of it.
