Want to replant my blackberries

I know where there are a couple nets you could "replant" your blackberries in...
(ooops, does that sound bad?)

Might give these folks a call. I've spoken with them in the past about buying seedlings, but never did as the deal fell through I was working on.

Weyerhauser sometimes gives out seedlings from it's Rochester nurseries.

Id skip their Doug Fir however, its been genetically modified to grow like grass and has zero disease resistance.

I just got a flyer from the County Conservation District, their annual sale is coming up soon, maybe check their website?

The Wayerhaueser seedling sale is on Presidents Day. This is at the nursury on Hwy 12 in Rochester. (Exit 88) You should be able to get some info thru their website. Get there early, there will be a line. On some of the ornimentals you will be limited. The trees have been .75 each in the past, cash or check only.

Stop in at the Hood Canal Nursery in Port Gamble. I bought 100 trees last year for $40, mix of cedar and fir. I think the last time I checked the conservation district was charging a buck a tree.

Ok, so I followed up, the Hood canal nursuries sells by the hundo. So since I wanted some varity that wasn't going to work.

I ended up contacting Resource Renewal out fo Quilcine.

They do reforestation, wetlands enhancement and what not.

He came out we walked the lot. I ordered stuff based on what was available. Bigger than "seedlings" 3ft+ size "trees" we will see.

But I ordered
35 Shore pine, 10 yellow cedar, 20 Port Orford Cedar, 20 Western white pine,20 oregon ash and 20 Dawn Redwood.

Most of the trees like it "WET" , I haven't recieved the trees yet but they are 3.00 each delivered.

True seedlings are very inexpensive. But these are supposed to be bigger. We will see.

Thanks, the POC and AYC are going in area that is dry, well drained.

The Dawn redwood, shore pine, oregon ash will go in the wetter areas.

I am told the Shore Pine is prone to falling over. But contiuning to grow at a angle, up to 35 feet. These are going in as a screen (road/neighbors) along a seasonal drainage.
