sigh. another trip down the Nooch produced about as many fish as the pond out back. Fished it last friday. havent had a chance to get on here. caught one ABS ( already been smoked) in one of the first holes. then spent the rest of the day basically sightseeing. which all in all isnt that bad. there were 7 or so other drift boats that floated the upper float with us. the shuttle guy jacked up his prices to 30$ which for the upper float is fine but he charges the same for the satsop float as well ( ridiculous!!!!) you can ride a bicycle ( for some of us that are still able to ) on that float. out of all the other drift boats we floated with two other boats caught some darkies as well. sounded like it was around the same hole. a few poor spawners. i felt a little bad that we dragged them all out of the hole like that but i heard of only one wild fish caught. the others were hatchery as well as the one i caught. from all i have heard every time it rains heavy and the river is high as crap it fishes good. every time it comes down a little and is premier "steelhead dropping green" it is marginal??? WTF?? anyone want to take a stab at that one? anyway...


so i found a chick that loves to fish. she is ...well you tell me looks wise

but after a few trips fishing..... i caught some fish....she watched and...kind of fished. dont get me wrong she is at least decent at casting and the basic comprehension of the basics of drift fishing. but...her fishing prowess was lacking. her amazing determination and sheer ambition to go was amazing. despite the fact that it took her at least 30 minutes to tie up a broken off leader, she absolutely LOVED to go. had all the right gear and even loved to drive out into the boondocks and fish some of my more remote spots. she would call me all the time....well for other things as well. anyway. she ended up being looney tunes and spread rumors about how i slept with all sorts of women and hung out with multiple women weekly and that i lied to her and said i wanted a relationship not just sex...blah blah blah. just drama. she is very nice and concise but a little diluted on how things are. We both work at Nordstrom and thats not a place that rumors are any kind of good. but i figured you guys would love that this chick loves to fish and you may have even seen her on the river.








it made for some interesting looks on the river when we went fishing. She dragged me out on my birthday to the Nasty when i didnt want to go and lo and behole i landed a fish. the meat was redder than the head of a **** on a dog. ate awesome. fought good and there was only a few people down there. rare.



belated story but i just thought of it after seeing one of the new guys avatar. she works at the estee lauder counter in the tacoma mall nordy's if you want a peek.

and to reiterate she is very nice and courteous and a very decent person. we dont see eye to eye on a few things so it blew up but in no way am i bashing her. she was a blast to fish with, and hang out with.

she took the picture so she couldnt really be in it but i thought of you guys that day and was trying to get some "risque" photos for the fans. she was not having it....aw well.

Keep the tuna. Ditch the chum.
