Not wrapped. Just the plastic sleeve with Oar-Rites that have been modified a bit. They are SGG shafts. I could stop by your shop sometime this week if you'd like to look at them.

I'm sure Bob would be happy to explain the wrapping process in person;)

Oars are still for sale. Sparkey doesn't know it yet but they don't fit my raft.

I picked up new cataract 9.5 oars, got tired of waiting for something on Craigslist, or here. Some items are easy to get used, good oars don't seem to be one of them.

For what I paid, the oars stay inside the house when not in the water. If you want to steal them you'll have to break in, sneak upstairs, and somehow go unnoticed with a pair of bright blue 9.5 foot long poles as you make your way back out.

Cool Vince, and I know what you mean about finding used oras.

I borrowed a buddies 9'6'' for a trip on the Hoh 2 weeks ago or so, and want to try some 9' oars before making the plunge on buying a pair.

I'll post an ad on 'tweakerslist' and see if I can't 'outsource' the theft of yours..................
