Can anyone refresh my memory on this stretch of water?

I thought that I had visited a stretch of water referred to as the Miracle Mile. It was not the Platte River (WY). My wife seems to thing that it was out of Medford. I just can't remember where it was. Maybe it was just a half a mile.

I've been googling and nothing comes up in Oregon other than white water trips.

We are taking a road trip into So. Or. Easter weekend and I am trying to find something to do.

Probably thinking of the "Holy Water" on the Rogue.

.

Last year I was there and Salmon Fly's were popping Memorial Day.

Fish the riffle at the top, and if it's clear you can sight fish for them from the high bank down towards the hatchey on the road side.

I liked the other side better, camp in the riffle up top.

During the salmon fly hatch that place is like a trout pond at times. My ex girlfriend caught her first trout there. It is fun to watch the big bugs get knocked down from the water in the air from the plume and see all the trout in the white water just gorging themselves on salmon flies.
There are some absolute mosters in there.

Well,, I will steer clear of that then, we don't want to piss off any MONSTERS.
As it ends up we are going to Yachats. Most likely just booze, views and cigars.
