worn out sayings/quotes?

I'm not sure how to word it but I thought it might be interesting to see if it is just me or are there others who are tired of some well worn phrases?
The one I hear very often is people talking about some family member who is a computer guru/wizard. It seems to come from someone with very little knowledge of computers who has a son/daughter/brother etc. who is the next Bill Gates. Probably just being petty.

at the end of the day.. I'm doing good !! just like back in the day... anywho, seems like folks are doing fine around here. Some nice fish pics.. and that foot film on the scarecrows thread just tore me up... am I the only guy here that wondered what it would be like to have sex with that girl.. or have you all changed. Fun stuff
A couple my kids say get on my last nerve .. Hella good or Hella cool for example

How about " shows a sense of urgency " or " team player " screams leg rider to me.
I forget the exact saying saying Stam, but she came up with a real good one tonight. It went something like " are you and your a-hole friends ever going to grow up and when are you going to mow the yard already and get the sprinklers turned on and fold some laundry or take me someplace nice " there was lots more but it was hard to hear as I was retreating to the garage
